In the 90's I was a teenager being raised by a single mother who was poor. We couldn't afford a computer. I did have a Sega Saturn though and wanted to get on the internet so bad and was sick of going to library so I went to Toys R Us and paid $50 for a cartridge and a disc that allowed it on your Saturn. I had to pay monthly locally for dialup internet. It was awful, an image took several minutes to load. Here is a youtube video of someone using it.
