Hacking Placed an order with DsiModStore for Acekard 2i

1) I am sure I can find a guide somewhere but can someone link me to a reliable up to date one.

2) Will I be able to play "homebrew" (roms) online via wifi?

3) I got a regular NDS will that still work with it, if not ill refund my order.

The latest AKAIO is v1.8.7, otherwise the rest of the guide should be up-to-date.

Homebrew is not equivalent to roms, however to answer your question, yes wifi works on roms played on the Acekard 2i.

The regular DS will work with it.

Everything else you need should be in that guide I just linked above.

Thanks for the speedy reply molh394, I am very excited. And I didn't know if Wii Homebrew and DS Homebrew were the same. I am a Nintendo junky, it is sad I haven't got a flash card sooner.

In the off chance that you did mean homebrew, let me answer your question.

SOME homebrews have wifi play, most do not. TanksDS is a great example of a homebrew with wifi-play.

Let me just say this: I hope you don't have the same experience with Dsimodstore as i did last month.I wont go into detail but let me tell you i left negative reviews and they all got removed.I made the mistake of believing all them "positive" reviews and ordering from them.They would respond to my neg reviews with excuses and calling me things like "flamer"! I don't see how the truth is flaming.Oh and the LIES i was told from the start didnt make me feel too warm and cozy!

Anyway,in the end i eventually got my product but not without being very diligent and after much arguing and threats to report to paypal etc... And to this day the "original one" that was sent,stiill has yet to be seen prob because it was never sent just as i thought!

So what are you saying, they failed to ship you your product or what? All I understood from your post is you had a rough time with them... but a rough time doing what?

Also, you should always report to paypal that you failed to receive product... whether you want a money refund or not.

Ummm,Let me spell it out for you!


They lied to me about stuff numerous times!!

I called and was told item had already shipped,but it didnt ship till two days later! (they emailed me invoice)

Originally the website stated "All orders from USA get shipped from Washington for fastest delivery" (the reason i ordered from them in the first place)

When I contacted them they said "Oh,it was in stock in Canada first so we shipped from there" (see post above)

The guy i talked to on the phone in Tennessee told me they had it in stock and shipped two days earlier. (see line 3)

After i never received the original item ordered they reshipped another one in which i received (total time to receive order was like 16 days or so,not 4-7 as stated)

The original "first one" never arrived! (what does that tell you?)

They never admitted too any of their faults or lies or miscommunications,they just blamed it all on me saying i was "impatient" and a "flamer"

I left MULTIPLE neg feedbacks on shoptemp for them and 1 by 1 they were all removed.

Sorry,but when i pay 40 dollars to a shady company,and they prove to be shady off the bat,you damn right im gonna be impatient! I should have been smarter and recognized the fake reviews!

And YES IN THE END I GOT MY PRODUCT,BUT NOT WITHOUT IT BEING A PAIN IN THE ASS!

Oh and since im sure they will read this and flame me,"Hey dsimodstore,Im still awaiting the arrival of the FIRST one!" (that they said they were gonna claim insurance on!)


This is the truth on what happened,is that clear enough for you Alex?

Thanks smartass... and on their website it says shipped from North America(including Canada). Plus there are a lot of factors that play a role in delivery time that are not controlled by the supplier such as whether(Can't fly planes in bad whether), customs(Getting an item through a country's customs can be hell.... TRUST ME I KNOW), and finally the shipping package you choose. Thank god you only waited 16 days(2 weeks) instead of 4-6 weeks normal delivery time.

Well if you would have read i said "AT THE TIME" the website said "ALL ORDERS FROM USA SHIP FROM WASHINGTON FOR FASTEST DELIVERY" i have two witnesses who seen it too,they were here beside me when i ordered. Its the whole damn reason i ordered from them! They changed it promptly after my incident though to "NORTH AMERICA".

And dont even tell me about shipping times,i ordered a freakin ak2i from zhuzhuchina that came slowboat and it was here much faster than my dsimodstore order. (12 days)

And customs? BS,how convenient they take my 1 package in canada when ive never had a confiscated package anywhere,and by the way if they do take a package they forward a letter letting you know!

The package never arrived because it was never sent dude! Anyway its not just about the time shipping its mainly about the lies!

Believe what you want to,I dont wish you good luck anymore,I hope they screw you royally since you like to back them so much!

I try to help by posting my experience to maybe save someone some BS that they prob dont need but i see im wasting my time

When a package moves from one country to another, it has to pass through customs(To make sure import and export laws are followed). Generally customs process can take up to 30 days. Now continue making your self look like a dumbass.

You must have a real reading comprehension problem! Customs will send you some sort of acknowledgement that they have confiscated your item.

Also,it has been 2 months already,so whos the dumbass now?

Will the microphone peripherals still work with acekard. So I can play games such as nintendogs.

I understand the DSi camera won't work.

The mic is part of the original DS model and is used in DS games, so yes.
