No it doesn't. Data install extracts and installs data that the game uses a lot for quick access and faster load times. Have you ever played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in ISO form with and without Data Install? Massive, massive difference. It's the difference between 10 second load times and a 1 second load time. A very tangible difference and certainly not "obsolete".

Like I said, there is no point from data install if you're already loading from the memory card. If you do a data install you're a mad person.

Uh the data install for P3P is a whopping 200mb. Woo don't know where I'm gonna find aaaall that memory.

And in MHFU, yeah 9 seconds is a big difference when you're running from map screen to map screen chasing a boss. A 10 second loading screen every 5 seconds would be what I call irritating.

for the game, I prefer moving a character than a target point, but I'm sure we get used to it

And for the dub voices, woman voices are not that bad. It was only the beginning of the game with the train station, and the kid's voice which were bad.

as for the compatibility, I'm using 2000v2 + m33-6 + 6.20 plugin. Working fine

The game is like a visual novel. Having the cursor saves tons of time. you'd spend running around. It's filler.

Junpei
Mitsuru
hooded guy that's Akihiko's "friend"

once or twice the people doing the "extras" (the random gaggle of girls and such with no avatar and no meaning overall) seem kind of weak, but overall the dub is very professional.
