You can also mount your SD card to a lector if you want to copy to it via network.

Would it be possible to make the downloading portion independent, like how rxtools does it? Also, the text is not readable due to the yellow background, unless I highlight it with my mouse... not sure if it's my because of my python version (2.7 official installer).

This project has come far in such a short time, it just goes to show what can be done when people work together and actually listen to the community.
Whereas I wouldnt be using this because I dont want to downgrade or buy Cubic Ninja, it really is a nifty CFW, well done!

Now that firm.bin downloading is independent of SD mounting, would it be better if PastaCFW looks for firm.bin at the another location ie SD://root? Also renameing it to something like pastafirm.bin to make things less confusing.

It currently looks in Pasta's parent directory for the file. I know your team wants to keep all the files together, but it would make updating PastaCFW a lot easier (copy, paste, done). The downside of this is that SD root will be cluttered with lots of files if you're running multiple CFWs.
