Trying to install the BigBlueMenu.cia file, and keep receiving an error message:

Install failed!
Could not install app.
Raw Error: 0xd900458a
Module: FS (0x11)
Level: Permanant (0x1b)
Summary: Wrong argument (0x8)
Description: Unknown description (0x18a)

Press Start to Continue

This is after I load up Pasta CFW through Ninjhax. Any ideas?

Edit: I'm using FBI to try to install BigBlueMenu.cia

If you get an error when installing a CIA with FBI,
on the sd card from your 3DS open folder "Nintendo 3DS"
within that folder is another folder with a string of numbers and letters open it. (example. 21301hasd0h21321has0r234wer)
Within that folder is another folder with a string of numbers and letters open it. (example. 213sd64334435501asdaf1h7as0)
Create a folder and name it "dps" (without the quotes...)
Drag and drop the files from uploaded zip. (title.db & import.db) into the new folder you created "dbs"
(exmaple. "Nintendo 3DS/21301hasd0h21321has0r234wer/213sd64334435501asdaf1h7as0/dbs")
Put the sd card back into your 3DS.
Go to your "System Settings", then go to "Data Management", then go to "Nintendo 3DS" then go to "Software"
Let the system fix the files.
????
Profit!

hope that helps

My best guess is it's some kind of verification error, considering its between error codes like "Verification failure for RSA or hashes" and "Invalid RomFS / savedata block hash". Maybe try checking if your CIA is valid? Could also be some strange form of the database error, if you haven't tried the fix for that yet.

Wow... you don't know how to create an empty text file called "title.db" without without the .txt extension, and you call the OP an idiot?

Ah, ok. Saw someone post a while back to stay away from cias that change system files. I wasn't sure if the ds cart whitelist was included with that rule.

1. There's literally nothing to be explained. If you can't manage to create an emtpy file, refer to post #2033 who graciously provided the files for you.
2. Take said files and copy them into - "SD:/Nintendo3DS/ (random numbers)/ (random numbers)/ DBS folder
3. Create the DBS folder if it didn't exist.
4. Enter Software management under 3DS System Settings, you'll get an error and it will ask to fix it. say OK and exit out of settings.
5. Launch CN -> boot pasta
6. Launch CN-> run FBI
7. Install BBM or DevMenu.

Literally everything I typed is on the first page.

It should be modified as 'stay away from cias that change system files unless you know what you are doing'

I'm not too sure about how the system handles titles, especially with pasta cfw.
Does installing a regular title such as mariokart8.cia make any changes to the NAND that indicates the presence of that title?
Or is it simply that every title on the SD card is read and loaded unless there are signature checks.
I ask this because I want to know if it's possible to insert an SD card belonging to another 3DS into one loaded with Pasta CFW and load all of the games.
