during firmlaunch, some arm11 kernel function hooks need to be installed. for example code, check the disassembly of the ntr cfw. whereas the ntr cfw apparently patches processes, a possible firmlaunch implementation would be hooking code in kernel land (as there are no processes during firmlaunch), right?

- Just go to eShop with YGW eshop Spoof.
- Download the 1.0.8 Update
- Run PastaCFW 1.3 (Beta2) WITH FIRMLAUNCH
- Play Smash Bros. 1.0.8

By the way, for anyone who wants to easily swap firmlaunch/not firmlaunch, you can use Brahma directly with an old build (I've been running 1.0B2 this entire time just fine, no options but it works...), just put launcher.dat into a directory called Brahma at the root of the card, install Brahma as any other Ninjhax homebrew and run it. Choose to launch a payload, find that and off you go to a non-FIRM launch without switching card contents (though it'll still require a reboot since you can't run Ninjhax through a higher FIRM)

The only place I think in source code is Minecraft, anywhere else I think in terms of running it!
Though it also hasn't been "released" yet, so it's still valid for a day or so

How to use FIRMLAUNCH :
-Copy the latest version of Pasta to your SD card
-Launch the configurator
-Select your SD card lector
-Select your console
-Select "download FIRM"
-Done!

Note : THE NAND BACKUP FEATURE IS BROKEN!!!

While you're at it, can you add the Linux version of pastaConfig? (the Mac version might be too big...)

I can't add the companion.app to the release, the zip becomes way too big for GBAtemp:/

Edit : beta 3 is out, firmlaunch settings added (please update both the .3dsx and the loader.bin !!!)
