Hacking original R4 YSMenu menu black and white

My wife has an original R4 with YSMenu.

Everything was great for a long time until the other day. The main menu screen with the ROM list is now black and white only.

ROMs load fine, games are in color like normal, it's just the YSMenu screen. This isn't a big problem, obviously, but it's weird.

Any ideas?

Freaked me out too, I didn't realize it was the first. I just happened to be messing with the cart a little after 12 (I was putting a little super glue on the tiny screw because the case was getting loose.) and I thought I'd kaibosh'd the whole thing.
