Two (and a half) weeks of work, all to make a fun mod. This mod replaces MOST of the OrAs soundtrack (and Sound effects) with that of Ruby, Sappphire and Emerald's. Quite a feat that I'm Proud of. And because I'm a Very Low sub Youtuber who wants more views, Here's the video with all the download links and a (CRAPPY) 4 minute preview.

    Warning: Crappy Video

Installation is pretty simple if you have
LumaCFW, Just drag n' Drop in a couple folders, and :gun:BAM; Music mods.

And; while not as easy, dumping through
Braindump and loading through HANS is a good alternative if you don't have LumaCFW, but can load homebrew.

(Building a complete .cia is not recommended, but is an alternative if you want to be a "That ISO site User" and do a little bippity boppity to get some mods)

I might need some debuggers to help with looping, Finding tracks that weren't Changed and other stuff. (Basically, Beta testers)
If you're interested, Post about any notes/changes about the mod

Now, I'm not one to beg. But if you want to donate to me, You can do so here.

I can help with making perfect loops. If you need examples of my work check out the music in the themes I have posted on 3dsthem.es (link in signature or just search user:TheCyberQuake manually)

Just downloaded the files, I'll be looking into them tomorrow to see if any loops are broken and fix them. Not sure how many I'll get to as I also plan on finishing up spray painting my n64 and adding leds to it, but there should be plenty of time between coats to start digging into it.

Oh this is nice, I'm in the middle of an OR playthrough and will do AS next week probably. I'll wait to see what @TheCyberQuake can do, the preview itself shows the mod to be promising.

I was looking for exactly this mod last week actually, but was disappointed not to find any original music replacement (I loved that you could switch to original music in HG/SS). Thank you for this.

What source did you use for the music files? They don't seem to be very clean audio files.

I downloaded a full OST from the internet and replaced a couple songs (that were VERY low quality [Like GOD AWFUL]) with some from Youtube

If you are interested I just ripped the songs directly from the game (well ripped as midi and soundfont then converted to mp3). The only issue is that currently all the songs are labeled as song###.mp3, so I'm going through and matching all that I can.
The plus side is that it also gives us clean rips of a lot of sound effects that you can't get from an online OST. I can upload to mega if you want to take a look at what I got. I have all of the mp3 files organized into music and sounds.

I would love a real OST, please do send the Mega link. And I can help with the matching music game.

Here is everything I haven't matched:
    https://mega.nz/#!JJtAAJhK!eB3ULIqnDs-2y0RlpPqfpCM1pWuXALQRD8gyRSZYgwQ

And here is the few songs I found matches for so far (Updated 13:23 7/25/17):

Those should include almost every sound in the game.

Edit: I'll be updating the spoiler below with matches I find as I find them.

I'm almost wondering how a fade from the new music to old music for bgm_sg_title_01.dspadpcm would sound as an attempt to fix it without a huge gap of silence. I'll take a look into it tomorrow when I get home from work.
I should also probably dump my game and get it decrypted so I can look into other files in the game.
Edit: I'll also look into how the the game loops audio and try to fix any loops. Which will require me to decrypt my game to view the originals. Luckily no work on friday so I have tomorrow (after work) and friday to look into it.

Currently working on making proper loops and converting back to bcstm format. I'll also be looking into a fix for the intro music if I have time.
I'll probably upload a WIP version with only several (maybe most) of the songs missing just to begin testing if everything works and loops properly.
    Current work clutter
Edit: working with bcstm loops is a pain but doable. Will probably be a while to get everything properly formatted for looping bcstm, but I'm working on it.
