I'm using Akaio 1.8.8 if you're have problems u probable didn't ready the instruction on the DL page.
USAGE: Download the file for your card and unzip it to your "__aio/loaders" directory on your card

That's not for us to do, it is for either Retro Game Fan - who most likely will fix it at some point as he is awesome and updates frequently.
Or wait for an R4 update for the firmware.
We cannot release fixes we haven't got.
 
Using the new loader for AKAIO, I made it past the white screens, but got stuck in a loop after attempting to enter the first stage.
Enabled Bypass AntiPiracy and it works just fine now.

That's not for us to do, it is for either Retro Game Fan - who most likely will fix it at some point as he is awesome and updates frequently.

Also, is the firmware he creates his own or just fixes for official?

His main updates can be found on Filetrip
And he is mainly here as he has his own little topic where he updates things - http://gbatemp.net/t267243-retrogamefan-updates-releases keep looking at this one and wait for an update,
He usually updates this first and then puts it up on filetrip

Thanks for your hard work. As a software developer myself, I'm curious as to how you develop these AP fixes? Do you scan the binary dump looking for certain sequence of numbers and by trial/error, patch them out? Or do you have a development system where you can run it in a debugger to figure out the location of the AP checks? Or some other technique?
