have you tried just mount them by selecting them in the games section?
    how are you installing them?

All with the normal SX OS menu. Normally I don't install XCIs, it was only for testing if it's ok.
    So I didn't use Tinfoil.

Tested 4 splitted files made with last version and working fine for me. I tested them from the dock and they install or mount and play fine.
Have yet to test them from the SD, they added the archived folder xcis for the SD, dunno if it could be related.

My XCIs on SD are in switch\xci, I just put all xc* files in there. Do both folders, switch & xci, need an archive bit?
Or just the folder if I want to put the xc* in an extra folder called name.xci? What does that mean anyway, a folder with archive bit ?

xc* files can't be archived. Those would be the folder type, folder type needs a smaller split size and that format wasn't implemented yet for xcis in NSCB, i used the split size the original xci splitter used. I'll test from the SD in a few.

I can mount and install normal XCI from SD without any problems like before.
Only splitted into XC* doesn't want to work, neither mounting nor installing :(
The splitted games are shown correct in SX OS menu.
The reason isn't the new autoloader, deactivating it causes the same error.
Do you test with SX OS 2.9.2 + FW 9.0.1 aswell ?

Yep, i'm using that combination. I'm copying some files to the sd to test right now. I normally test from the HDD first since it's faster for me to generate or copy the files there.
In theory sx server + sx installer can paste a normal xci as an archive folder in the sd btw. They added the archive folder format for that.

I generate all files on the PC and copy them via USB to HDD or SD.
The SX Dumper always crashes for me immediately.

Edit. Still working from the SD. Are we sure your sd didn't corrupt. Fat32 corrupts too, it normally recovers from corruption but not always.

I think is either because it needs more ram or because you need to delete the old config files to upgrade to newer versions.

Ok, but why do I have only problems with this spiltting? Sometimes an app crashes, I think that often causes corrupt data somewhere.
I've a 400GB SD, I can't always spend hours to copy the many GB there and back.
Can't corrupt data or sections be found somehow and erased ?

Oh, sorry, the problem is not the SX Installer, but the SX Dumper always crashes at the beginning, error 2168-0002.

I think they need to update the dumper for 9.X
About the splitting i can add the archive folder for xcis but it won't be today. Probably when i start testing splitting when input is a nsz\xcz. Currently i don't allow using those if fat32 is selected.

I always update all apps, so I've the newest SX Dumper 2.04r.
    Perhaps I do miss files ? keys.txt again ?
I think the SX Dumper can generate splitted XCIs aswell. So I want to try to dump a normal mounted XCI.

I think TX needs to update it, not you. It also happens in my case.

    Ah, ok.
Btw., I tried it with Luigi M. 3 (2 parts) and Hyrule Warriors (4 parts).
I changed the filenames after generating the xc* files. Or is the name of the following files somewhere in the previous one, so that I should do that ?

I'll format my SD now. Copying all to PC needs 35 min.
I think copying all back will need hours.

No, the .xc* format will work with the same naming, just .xc0,.xc1,... it also supports any split size which is also the case with the .ns* format for nsps. The archived folder type needs them in a specific split size and as 00,01,02... or at least that was my experience.
For splitted xcis i used the split size that was being accepted as the time but i guess if i add archive folder to xcis too i could also the option of lowering that size to the Nintendo archived standard.

Dunno it crashes for me since I updated to 9.01. I can redownload I guess.

That would indicate the files weren't added to your list for some reason I think.
