Thanks for your advice but i already have all that in my cart and tried it all but when i try to upgrade the screen becomes red and the fake cart sign shows up if i used the TTMENU.DAT that in the DSTT Fake Recovery 1.17 even if i use the DsttFlashWriter it gives me this message "not support device" also when using DsttFlashChecker it gives me this message "this cart is not DSTT"

but, if i used the TTMENU.DAT that in the firmware 1.17a02 the screen turns white and nothing happens only white screens

i tried formatting the sd memory many times and went through all the steps on the sticky topic but still no use

if someone with fake cart can confirm that it works please advice me note that the games work fine but i can't upgrade the cart to work on the 1.4DSi

I have updated some DSTTi cards with a DS Lite and after it has the Star Wars name and icon (funny way to make it work again). I have put original 1.17 software on the MicroSD and the 3 files in the TTi14UPGRADE_rel.rar.

It works only on my DS Lite with original firmware on it, it does not work with my DS Lite with passme. If I start TTi14UPGRADE.nds on a DSTTi on a DS Lite with passme the upgrade process hangs on 0.00% and the DSTTi is fried.

Jacinto, if members have been here for over a year, you can most likely trust them. In some cases you can't, but most of the times you can.

Some people in spanish forums are saying that the upgrade process didn't finish and then the DS/DSi was unable to recognize the DSTTi. I upgraded 3 original cards (checked with TTiCheck) without any problem. Did anyone here have a problem with the patch?

I have updated 30 pieces DSTTi now and 5 pieces got stuck at a certain point in the upgrade process. Pretty bad actually, 15% failure rate.

Some of us run dsi with ver. 1.3E, some ver 1.3U , is this same for upload 1.4 with this TTi 1.4 ?

i have a genuine tti and genuine 1.17 from ndstt.com

all i did was copy the three files to the root of my micro sd
and then run the .nds file

it took a while but it worked perfectly without any need to format
then i updated the dsi to 1.4 and

IT WORKED GREAT

this is great after one of my posts ended up with the conclusion that the tti does not have an uploadable bootloader, which is wrong

but it seems people with fakes are having problems

but it seems as if it depends on the fake , as there are probably many kinds

Had to format my card and copy everything over fresh, or I just got 2 white screens. Once I did that, it worked perfectly.

awesome, i just upgraded the firmware on the dstti and then finally upgrade the dsi firmware to 1.4u, it worked. great job everyone
