Don't know if this will help anyone else, but I found the solution to my runtime error'53' with healthi 1.2. I don't get the error anymore and I actually created my own custom health screens..

1. choose medium size pics.. (I believe it was posted before somewhere) to use around 500 X 400 (Medium sized pics)
2. Proper img type... bmp, jpeg
3. right click on healthii icon (on desktop) and run as administrator..
4. It will ask you to save file (choose a name you will remember)
5. After you save it, and before you put it on the root of your sd card/ rename it appropriately for your region and pic... EX: NTSC would be 00000042.appmario where mario is your filename
Pal would be 00000045.appmario.

Hope this helps, it can be a little confusing just learning this stuff. But if you try and also read as much as you can, You should be up and running.

Check for any temp throttling with software before poking around inside it depending on age might be good practices to do it anyway

Someone should do a video what happens if you take a pc to geeksquad loaded with roms

oh god my unnecessarily complex virtualized desktop PC setup broke and now I seemingly need to shrink my data partition, create an EFI partition, and convert the disk from MBR to GPT.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
That brings back memories of trying to convert a sd card that just refused to convert over a burned img file
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Actually think it was like trying to convert ext4 to fat32 without loosing everything
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    what the sigma
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Dumb Linux file system thing with batocera it locked the roms folder to a specific format where plasma wouldn't read it
