i just ntrboot haxed my buddies 3ds and did the whole process, no crash on his. Ive wiped out all freeshop stuff on both my o3dsxl and n2dsxl and still get the arm11 crash after pressing start on a fresh install. For the life of me i cant figure this one out. updated luma, ive updated bs9, ive updated godmode again. cant think of anything else i need to do.

What cache number does it show? Redumping the app wont do a thing as its the cache file that will dictate what titles you will see.
Not redump the app, redumping the key.
I update the cache but nothing, also, when i finish downloading a game it says ''wrong title key'' and it doesn't finish installing, what i do?

Yea, ik that, I've made stuff myself too but I've talked to Paul for over 6 months now, we've had our ups and downs but one thing I've learnt is that he's a pretty persistent/eager with his work. Obviously this case could just be an exception though, maybe school has taken away time or something but I'm still wondering about the future plans for the app.
yea, I have several exams this month, and I'm still learning to use cpp3ds right. I've already made changes but I haven't pushed because its not worth it yet

Games that don't have an eShop presence yet (SR does not have one that is crawlable) are NOT in freeShop.

Additionally, I'd like to remind everyone that freeShop is meant to be used with your title keys only. I do not provide cache support with any publicly shared encTitlekeys.bin file as that would be piracy and warez and would definetly go against both GBATemp and our Discord's rules.

For those curious, the English preload versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver have been uploaded to that title keys site, courtesy of myself. Minecraft has been uploaded as well, but I did not provide that.

EDIT: At least, I believe I provided them. I'm only seeing them as the most recent games added to the RSS and someone on that iso site said that they added them, hmm. I only just uploaded my title keys around 11:25 pm CST.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
