One bad thing about DS emulators is the lack of a save state function.Atleast,I know the ones I've tried don't have them and I wouldn't complain about it but I am due to the fact that some games that you download may have saving issues(like FFCC:EoT)and basically just become unplayable without the necessary cheats which you may not even know how to put in correctly...

NO$GBA has a state save function.
So does DeSmuME.

EDIT: Hmmm..it seems you're right, I tried it on both. Neither of them is actually able to save.(may be fixable if you mess around with settings)

I believe in No$GBA it's called "Write Snapshot" to save state and "Load Snapshot" to load it. Or you can just press F8 to save and F7 to load.
I'm using version 2.6a, so make sure you have the latest version.

^That's the one!

On DeSmuME:
1. Click file.
2. Click "Save State As"
3. Name your save(ending in *.dst or .ds#).
4. Click save.

I tried the ''write'' and ''load'' snapshot thing but it says that the rom has crashed.
And like I said, the emulators aren't very good.
It might be the ROM's problem though, as some games don't work with the flash carts' Real Time Save either.

I tried to ''write snapshot'' and load it on FFCC:EoT but it said it crashed.Heh,that's the only game that has a screwy issue with not being able to save in game so I thought about the save states.

Ahh... I must've missed the part where you said Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time the first time.
There is a save fix for that game, have you tried it yet?

Edit: Actually all you need to do is to input this code in No$GBA:
Code:
020CAE48 E3A00000
020CAE4C E12FFF1E
020CB1B0 E3A00000
020CB1B4 E12FFF1E

I had a topic about the saving issue on that game and it was explained but I didn't understand it... lol Thx,I think I can understand how to make it work now with your link.

I have that cheat already 020CAE48 E3A00000
020CAE4C E12FFF1E
020CB1B0 E3A00000
020CB1B4 E12FFF1E in the cheat box and I activated it but I still couldn't save.So I was looking for another solution.

Are you sure you have No$GBA 2.6a?
In the emulation setup, make sure the save type is set to either Auto, or EEPROM 64KBYTE.
