Nintendo Switch Online NES games for August 2019 revealed

Are you ready for more NES games? Because it's a brand new month, which means a brand new pair of retro games are about to be added to the catalog of playable NES titles for those that subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online. This month sees the addition of Kung-Fu Heroes and Vice: Project Doom, on August 21st. The former is a 1986 port of a 1984 arcade game, which is a beat-em-up that supports coop play with up to two players. Meanwhile, the latter is a side-scrolling action-platformer, with a few slight similarities to a more well-known NES title, Ninja Gaiden. Vice: Project Doom was developed by Aicom, a subsidiary of Sammy Industries, and Kung-Fu Heroes was created by a company now known as Culture Brain.

Kung-Fu Heroes: Monsters have taken Princess Min-Min and the 10 treasures of the land, and the people have fallen into sorrow. Only Kung-Fu Masters Jacky and Lee can save the princess and retrieve the treasures! Their journey will take them to eight different castles filled with hosts of traps and obstacles. Use punches and the Miracle Kick to defeat the enemies. You will need quick wits and lightning reflexes to make it to the last castle!

Vice: Project Doom: There exists a group of undercover detectives who dare stand up to the evil in the world... They are known as Vice. Officer Quinn Hart, a member of Vice, is on the case and after the truth. High-speed car chases, action-packed battles employing three types of weapons and a mode with three 3D rail-shooting stages all bring this cyberpunk world to life.

I don't see what's wrong with having good games like vice project doom and kung-fu heroes that many people have never played vs the same old mainstream titles people have played for years.

A great idea they could do would be to have a random generator and every user would hav 2 different games a month

You are only 14 what would you know about what's good or not for nes games :rofl2:
Kung-Fu Heroes is the embodiment of why we need SNES games, and Vice is a cheap Spy Hunter ripoff. Not a bad cheap Spy Hunter ripoff, but a cheap Spy Hunter ripoff nonetheless.

I don’t see what age has to do with anything. I’m 14. I’ve played NES games. I actually prefer retro games. The classic Nintendo ones. Mario 64 , sunshine, smash melee. Things like that. In case you didn’t know, it’s possible for 14 year olds to like retro games

Are you sure about that?
SNES games were datamined January 2019.
It's possible Nintendo is waiting for the right moment to release them (for example christmas or exactly 1 year after NSO release)

You nailed it, why would they do that ? They always made big bucks on accessories. Nintendo is the sheer essence of planned obsolescence.

And f*** my SX ?
Hohoho, hell no.

I've been waiting for legal GC emulation since the dawn of time.
Now I don't expect anything from Nintendo and will enjoy Metroid Prime on GPDWin or SmachZ.

Nintendo sucked dry the nostalgia marrow of too many people, time to move on.

Honestly, they should treat VC as a service under their brand, across all consoles and generations, and it should work like PS+ where you add these monthly titles to your library. The only thing I don't like about PS+ is that you can't access the games without the subscription, and you can't pay to unlock those games permanently while you DO have a subscription if they are in your PS+ library.

I've had it with paying again and again to legitimately purchase the same games on different systems that are labeled the same way under the VC banner, but I can't transfer the ability to play. Buying a Nintendo console with classic game offerings has become a joke.

So many people treat Nintendo like they're this great underdog company, when really their business model is to sell turds and then offer overpriced polishing kits.

While I agree that the constant bleats of "we want SNES games" from certain posters is irritating, stating an opinion as fact isn't exactly smart, either.

Sometimes you gotta post bullshit with bullshit so the poster wil think ther post was bullshit-and yeh so annoying when you get members here level 10 plus keep moaning about no snes games-you expect more intelligent posts by them not drivel-fair enough if a noob brings it up though

They're punishing us for being too nosy and finding the SNES controller icons by giving us crappy beat-'em-ups and Spy Hunter ripoffs.

EDIT:
Hmmm....it's ALMOST as if they're punishing us for leaking their plans for SNES releases.....ALMOST.
And it's already been posted. Great.

- Remember, kids, posting things on forums is great, but if you post more than once in a row, that's no good! -

*insert dong joke here*
