Nintendo might be planning different NSO tiers.

    NSO - NES/SNES Bundle = $20 (Active)
    NSO - GBA/DS Bundle = $30
    NSO - N64 Bundle = $40
    NSO - NGC Bundle = $50
    NSO - Wii/U Bundle = $60
    NSO - All Included Edition = $99.99

This is something you'd expect from EA and Ubisoft, but Nintendo is part of it too.

Well, at least this is making me feel less and less bad for hacking my Switch, and not going online. I'm not banned, but, I don't feel the need to go on normal nand. Sometimes I feel like just getting rid of emunand, and playing all my pirated games on my normal nand, and getting back the 30ish gb I lost for splitting my nands.

That sounds pretty bad, when compared to Gamepass.

This system has been out for nearly 3 years and has a piss poor retro library. 2 systems with hand picked games. Most of which aren't what people actually want. It's disappointing, really. This system is just begging for a nice library of both, old and new titles.

Playstation/xbox: "here's a couple AAA titles from a few years ago. Thanks for being an online subscriber."

Nintendo: "fuck them give them the equivalent of a few indie games from 20+ years ago and lets talk about uping the price a few bucks."

Splatoon does look like fun. But I tried Monster Hunter on the 3DS and I just couldn't get into it.

mario rpg, paper mario, paper mario the thousand year old door, and super paper mario. Nintendo make these available for sale and i’d renewal my lapsed subscription as a thank you. but i still won’t subscribe to pokemon jail nor buy the missing 3/4th of pokemon sword.

Shadow of the Ninja is decent, but none of this is particularly exciting.

Where are the Earthbound games? Their continued absense has me speculating that we may see a Mother/Earthbound trilogy release soon, as those kinds of collections seem to be popular these days, and it'd be a clever way to first release an official localization of Mother 3 too.

I'd love to see Donkey Kong Country collection release including DKC 1-3, DKC Returns, and DKC Tropical Freeze. Maybe include Jungle Beat as a bonus unlockable game.

SNES Donkey Kong Country trilogy could be added to Switch Online in addition to being available on Wii U eShop.

Shadow of the Ninja has at least one music track that reminds me of Castlevania.

Smash Tennis has among the better sprites for 2D Tennis games.

Pop'n Twinbee is odd, in that you keep your shot power-up on continue (?).

Or, we should have had donkey kong country returns with tropical freeze for $60 Instead of FUNKY MODE FOR THAT PRICE. :ninja:

You know, if they want to go with obscure stuff, why not something with redeeming qualities like the following?

    (*eargasm warning*)

(HAL Laboratory made this one, why not translate it or take the fan translated ROM and put it on your SNES Online service, Nintendo!? It's not like you haven't used ROM files before... *Super Mario All-Stars for Wii intensifies*)

Who's going to play Madden '94 in 2020 when you could get Madden'20XX instead?

Answered your own question. Remember, all a corporation cares about is money. Which is why you hack your Switch and tell the system Nintendo set up to go find something to fuck itself with!

Are you trying to give them ideas?

Besides, all I see them doing for the Switch 1 at most with this plan is N64 followed by the GBA, with all of the backwards compatibility that comes with making a competent GBA emulator. Maybe if the Switch 2 has a beefier processor that can handle more instructions, then I'd see GC and Wii coming alongside however they'd implement normal DS support. I don't know enough about 3DS emulation to know how demanding that would be.

I don't think the outrage comes from the price of the sub, but the selection of games. NES and SNES have a gigantic library of games and would take years to deplete the good games of the bunch, with some reasonable and some duds in the middle of each offering to make things interesting.

"february games" implies they're going to add 2 games for each console every month from now on, let's hope this lasts
