Nintendo is bringing fans some new-old classics for the first time of the year, in their February 2020 update for Nintendo Switch Online retro games. Four new games are slated to be added to the service on February 19th, including two NES games and two SNES. On the Nintendo Entertainment System side of things, Shadow of the Ninja and Eliminator Boat Duel will be the latest playable titles, while the Super Nintendo section will see Pop'n TwinBee and Smash Tennis joining their ranks.

Well, that's kinda underwhelming, on SNES part in particular. Decent games though. Eliminator Boat Duel in particuilar is something of a hidden gem, so I'm glad more people will try it out, the game is awesome.

F***, just give me a direct. Not super smash shit's. New Nintendo originals. Mario, bayonetta, pikmin or Metroid game. Something, I am starting to lose faith in Nintendo. Give me something to believe in. Don't care about SNES games, or Nes..

Funny, a few days ago I was just thinking “man, has Nintendo given up on the SNES/NES online apps?”

    This lineup is pretty disappointing.

It's nice that we're getting more games, but I'd like some meatier RPGs. My modded SNES mini already has every game they could possibly put on there, but it lacks the portability of the Switch.

I just wonder.. there is no one at nintendo saying things like.. " why dont we put game cube, n64, snes, gba, heck even ds on a virtual shop and sell each game for like 5 usd ? ...
i understand that they use this so people get nintendo online... but why not make the virtual shop to requiere a nintendo online subscription ? ( just dont give crap that if i opt out i lose the purchased game )
