Wii Network Service Partial Discontinuation
On June 27, 2013, the following network services, available through the Wii console, were discontinued and can no longer be used:
We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding. If you would like to delete the affected channels from the Wii Menu, click here. Please note that you cannot uninstall the Forecast Channel or the News Channel.
All other network features, including the Wii Shop Channel, online multiplayer, and video on demand services (Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, and YouTube), are not affected and can still be used on the Wii console.
