Really? I thought the Icon was determined but what patch you run on the card. Mine has changed each time I patch.

So it doesn't matter if it's rev C it has to have come with that deep labyrinth Icon when you first got it?

I thought I could just patch my Rev C to get that Icon...lame

Do I need to download any patches or anything before updating my 3DS to V4.5.0-10? I ask because the site doesn't seem to have a patch for it and say their most recent carts can pass through without any problems but I don't have the deep labyrinth icon.

i assume your card is a R4ids.cn Gold card yes?

Support V4.3.0-10 and NDSi V1.4.4

this mean you card will not work on 4.4.0-10
and 4.5.0-10

you need to check the revision of you card
check the furthest right pin slot on the card
you should see a letter or a number
(hopefully you will see the letter C)

if you have revision C you are in luck but must wait

there is an update coming but it has yet to be released

if you update your 3DS to 4.5.0-10 or 4.4.0-10 your card will not be able to update on that console
so if it is currently working on its DO NOT UPDATE
wait until your cards update is out and you have update the flashcard
only after you have ran the update on the flashcard and it changes the icon to the new one
then you can update your console

Thanks man. Yeah just checked it out and there's a C there so that's some good news. Bought it from RHS and they told me it would be updated to run V4.4.0-10 though. I guess it's a good thing I didn't try to update before now either.

I have the new one.. with the deep labyrinth sign .. then you can patch it.. and it works on the latest 4.5.0 firmware the other cards dont work yet.. just have to wait longer for a patch for it I guess...

I know what I wrote. I wrote DSi 1.4.5 and not 3DS 4.5.0. (I own a DSi and a 3DS and a blocked R4i 3DS Gold rev. C).
