Hacking Newest update to hacking

Below is what I have on my Wii in terms of firmware and programs that I installed to hack my Wii. I have been away from this site for some time, and I am wondering what the current "best" version of hacking is out there? What is the best firmware? Thanks in advance

Does 4.0 have anything over 3.2? Such as faster speed, ability to do more things? What I am asking is if there is a need to even complete the update to 4.0?

Also, I saw a post about VC on SD...is that true?

4.0 enables the SD card menu, making it possible to load VC and other channels from SD (well kinda...) and gives faster SD read/write speed
SD card menu can only be enabled on 4.0

4.0 will give you all the latest IOS's for playing the latest games.

Yes you can play VC and WiiWare from SD.

Virtual console on SD is the biggest change in 4.0.. and the answer to "is that true?" is partially.

you can save your virtual console games on SD and launch them from an SD menu, but it then copies it into memory before you play and deletes it when you are done.. So you need enough space for the "temporary load".

so in other words, VC can be loaded onto the Wii menu directly from the SD card, provided you have the SD Card Menu...is the SD card Menu sorta like the homebrew channel menu in the sense that it looks similar to the Wii menu?

well first you install it to your wii as normal, then go to datamanagement and move it to the sdcard
and if you boot it, the wii will copy it back and boot it, then delete it again
look on youtube for wii 4.0 vids on it
