"XCMLive has just informed us of a new product that should be available towards the end of February. The cross fire converter is an adaptor which will allow you to use a PS3 controller on the Xbox 360, more functions will be announced at a later date."

Dont see this working well. The only controller combination I would want to see is maybe the 360 taking over for the Wiis classic controller.

I hate the 360
and mainly because of its supid controller.

so although i'd have no use for it it sounds like a decent product

I'd rather see it the other way around... I don't like the 360 at all (I'm more of a Wii/PS3 fan), but the controller of the 360 is one of the best - actually the only better controllers are those for GameCube and Wii.

As others have said, why would anyone want to do that? No offense to the PlayStation 3 intended, but their controller is notoriously terrible. Whereas in the reverse scenario, the 360 controller is hailed generally as one of the best. I certainly feel it is. Great button placement, a good weight, a shape that conforms to your hands.

The 360 pad is great apart from its terrible dpad. Give me a better dpad please.

I've never had a problem with the PSX/PS2 pads and they are comfy.

They do have a version that lets you use the 360 controller on a PS3.

Well imho the PS3/PS2/PS1 controllers suck D:, the analog stick placements make FPS games a living nightmare and the D-pad on the 360/Xbox are better than the Playstation ones purely because they are not individual buttons but can rotate nicely

. But this is all my opinion.

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    thanks btw
