I can confirm a manually patched, scrubbed ISO (the oldest release) now working, or at least booting, through USB Loader GX. I must go now, so I can't test if the random errors are a thing of the past already. Just wanted to confirm it is actually working.

It appears to only be working with USB for now, and not disc's. Just download the file Skarnet has linked and use alt. dol on NeoGamma

How do we use the alt dol using usbloader gx. I forgot how to do it.

Dont we have to rename the dol to something else. And does it just go on the root of the sd card?

Do you think you could help a brutha out and tell me how to do this? I've opened up the scrubbed iso in wiiscrubber and replaced the main.dol file but what do I do now? I see no save or rebuild iso option.

Just replace the main.dol in the ISO with the one you DL here, wait till its finished(WiiScrubber tells you now reparsing) then just exit the program and burn it. Success!

Ok, maybe i did something wrong, but thats my progress:

I opened the scrubbed ISO you can get from the net with TruchaSigner and extrated the main.dol, edited with a hex editor, replaced
the original main.dol with the changed one via TruchaSigner, signed it and burned the ISO. The channel animation works, after starting
the game i instantly got the black screen with the white error text.

Booting the game with GeckoOS freezes the wii.

10 Steps to run NSMBW:
1. Get the Game
2. Get the Main.dol http://www.mediafire.com/?zy0im2ntvyg
3. Get the WiiScrubber http://filetrip.net/f4399-Wiiscrubber-Kit-...oader-1-40.html
4. Extract the Wiiscrubber1.4.rar and the makebin1.1.rar
5. Open the makebin.exe enter 42 and hit enter
6. Start the WiiScrubber search the Iso and load it
7.Click an the Partition 0 and right click on the main.dol an select replace
8. Select the new main.dol and click ok
9. Exit the Wiiscrubbe
10. It should work now with a usb loader

so is the 400-600 mb iso file the full version of the game? just scrubbed? is there another 4-5 gig full version in the wild somewhere? If I replace the main.dol on the 400mb version, will it be the full game with no save restrictions or timeouts?

You probably are missing the required IOS.

I am burning my patched one now. I hope it works. I downloaded the new main.dol here and replaced it with Wiiscrub.
