Gaming New PSP model (3000) coming before the end of the year

some pics of the new model were published by ENGADGET today. The home button will be the PS button and it seems that the mic is included.

I saw that too

all they had tho was a pic of the new back casing, and all that was 100% for sure different was the key labelled HOME now had the playstation logo

Betting Sony's dropping UMDs

Sony won't drop UMDs, Slim and Lite is quite new, and for them to drop it now (to even create a new psp actually) would be stupid and cause a sudden loss of fanbase. Plus a lot of people love to own, as a lot of companies suck ass with taking care of your 'owned' titles and such, plus then you'd need PC space, etc, and MSPD are still too expensive. The problems go on and on honestly, just know that they won't be getting rid of UMD if they even made new ones (which also WONT happen)
