I did a case swap on a new 3ds XL. Everything was fine I thought until I tried to power it on.
The screens where on, 3d and volume worked but the buttons on the lower half didn't work, nor did the touch screen (it was on but touching the icons didn't do anything). Bit odd, but I took the cover that holds the battery out again, checked the ribbon cables, re-seated some and it looks fine. I turned it on by holding the battery in place without the cover. It turned on, the buttons and touch screen worked, aside from the home button.
It's weird, when the cover that holds the battery is on, it doesn't seem to want to work. Plus the trigger buttons don't feel right and don't click neither does the power button.
I don't know if it's an issue with how I've assembled it or whatever the case I've got dosnt fit right. Any ideas?
