I have a NEW 3DS XL that needs a shell replacement and I was trying to unscrew the battery cover part of the shell where you insert the microSD card because I just wanted to see if the motherboard was alright and the battery cover has 2 stripped screws and I was just wondering if I could just unplug the L and R button ribbon cables then try to rip the battery cover off with my hands. Would that be safe? i tried alot of methods to get the 2 screws out but its not working
