I sent you the already trimmed one a little while ago. I can link you to an un-trimmed one if needed. They don't seem to boot when trimmed down below 64 MB's, but the one I sent you is trimmed down to 3 MB's and it still works fine.

It works remarkably well. It trimmed 200 MB off of 3D Land and over 800 MB off of Smash Bros. for 3DS.

Wat do you need in terme of ROM to test ?

If we try to trim a ROM and it doesn't work after because of trimming, we can tell you ?
To mark it as "no trim" with a CRC32 ?

I know but if the program only cheks .3ds it will miss some games

BrianTokyo : if you want to play 3DS ROM online with a Gateway linker, you need to rename .3ds to .3dz (and you need to inject a correct header at the beginning, but I think you can trim the end of the file like classic .3ds files).
.3ds files have header only if you dump them by yourself with the Gateway.
.3ds ROM from "scene dump" have no header and both can be played and trimmed with Gateway and other linkers

thanks,it works great,but i tried to trim Bravely default(4gb) and after trimming the file size was 100kbs :|
unfortunately i didn't have a back up of that rom,i'm gonna download it again and test it ......
can someone else test bravely default and see if it works?

It's an issue with 4GB+ files, working on it.

What's the largest 3DS rom you know of? I wonder.. since trim offset is a 4-byte address which can be max 4GB, what happens with roms much larger than that.. need to check if they use a 64-bit integer or how they handle it...
