Hacking NDS Flashcart on 3DS can play NDS games?

Hi, I am about to purchase a 3DS and I wanted to know if an NDS Flashcart with DS games backed-up on it will allow me to play those NDS backups on my 3DS? I'm going to be buying this Flashcart: http://www.consolesource.com/ecomm/catalog/AceKard-2i-AK2i--p-2864.html

Thank you. Will the DS games look good on the 3DS? I have heard that the quality of the DS games sort of seems "low" when played on 3DS, which made little sense to me. Also, I hope the Acekard which I linked to in my post isn't the HW44, can anyone confirm that too? :3

It looks fine by my standards..

About the FW...we can't really know that...you will need to ask the retailer...

It's preferred to choose a retailer from acekard's list on their website (this way you know your'e getting the real deal)
and good choice btw

Pretty much all new Acekard 2is are HW88. They don't even produce HW44 anymore.

The 3DS stretches DS games to fit the screen by default, but you can hold select/start while booting the flash cart to make games run at their native/smaller resolution.

The quality is fine, you just have those people who need to find something to bitch about with any device. It looks a little stretched (because it is) but it definitely doesn't affect gameplay or anything.
