Hacking N3DS and Gateway install problem

so i just got a new 3ds xl today that is running 9.0.0-20U and im trying to get gateway to work on it, but whenever i try the cubic ninja exploit the qr scanner crashes and send me back to the home menu, and when i try to use oot the save file is said to be corrupted and deletes its self, what can i do?

edit: NVM reset the save data on cn and it works, backing up sysnand now
