N+ wifi

    its been a long time since i got on N+ for custom levels. last time i tried it failed as well, only a day or two ago once i got my dsi xl.

    They had some problems from the very start, and they took down the server at some point.


    The Wi-Fi is totally useless...

    ds wifi connection is a joke. i don't get how they can just drop the game. if i paid for a game i want to go online with, id demand my money back, the product is now defective.

    the problem with nintendo wifi in general is when connecting to a new AP
    it likes to test the connection by contacting a nintendo server.

    This is a problem because for example on a wii when configuring a new
    AP after connecting it initiates a connection test with a Nintendo server.
    Now if for whatever reason (nintendo servers being down, ports blocked)
    the connection test is not successful then it wont allow that connection to
    be used. Its a problem mainly for when wanting to use services that do
    not involve Nintendo servers (internet channel).

    You know none of the dreamcast's online game work.
    I'm pretty sure almost all the PS2 online games are down, too.
    Original Xbox, too?
    Also gamecube.

    I recall there being some kind of trick to still show some custom levels.

    Not sure though.
