Forgive my English, I don't quite know how to describe this issue.

For the past week or so I've been attempting to do various things that require going into folders like the Luma3DS folder and the Nintendo3DS folders on the SD card. Yet I haven't managed to complete a single one of them because for some reason, my file names are totally different. For instance, I had to put a file in luma/titles/0004013000001602, but I didn't have a single folder that had a 401 at the start. None were really even close. Same for when I tried to do something that required placing a file in a specific folder inside the Nintendo3DS folder. There was nothing even close. Did I set up my 3DS wrong or something? Or is it because I don't have an American 3DS?
I'd appreciate any help. Or if I'm just being dumb, tell me.

New 3DS XL, European/Australian model.

So I see you are trying to use ShutTheCamUp. Is your version of luma under v13? If so just create a folder called 0004013000001602 in luma/titles.

If your Luma is over v13 then simply rename the ShutTheCamUp app to 0004013000001602.ips and place it in luma/sysmodules

As for the other issue you have with the Nintendo3DS folder this is because whatever patch you are trying to do is for a different region than the game you have installed that is why you can't find the correct folder.

Ah... so the answer was that simple. Well, at least my guess about it being regional was right.
Sorry for the late reply (I don't even know if my reply is late by western standards), I was going to reply as soon as you answered, but I was busy with the ol' "Among Us with my sibs at 3AM even though I have a 9AM Algebra tomorrow". A common occurrence in my life.
Half awake right now so sorry if I went on a weird tangent like I sometimes do when deliriously sleepy.
Thank you for the help.

In TCG Pocket it uses a much simpler, trimmed down rule set that makes games go really fast but can get a littel boring tbh
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Sicklyboy, sort of like Yu gi oh duel links and Master duel?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
All that to say - I'm not familiar with TCG Live but it looks a little more advanced than TCG Pocket, and that's kinda cool. Actually may look into it myself now
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    @Xdqwerty, I haven't played either of those 😭
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
In which duel links uses a simplified versión and Master duel uses the full rules? @Sicklyboy
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Oh sorry
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
All good! The last Yugioh game I played was Eternal Duelist Soul on the GBA lmaooo
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    When it was new 😭😭😭
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
TCG Pocket, the cards only have weaknesses, no resistance, and so far only have one single attack and possibly one passive ability
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Hey @Xdqwerty , just wondering, what do you mean by your phone can't run TCG Pocket? Is Google Play Store saying your device is not compatible? If so, you might be able to try sideloading the APK and running it that way https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/the-p...okemon-tcg-pocket-1-0-9-android-apk-download/
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
If you go into security options on your phone there should be an option to "allow installing from unknown sources" or something to that effect, then when you download the APK you can tap it and it will install manually
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Sicklyboy, yup, Google play store says it won't work
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    Sideloading it from APKmirror maaaaaa
y work for you then 👀

@Sicklyboy, someone on Reddit told me this btw:

TCG live is an online version of the actual TCG. The primary way to unlock cards is to buy the physical cards as there is no monetization at all. You can still get cards without but much less.Like I said it's the actual game. Pocket is a much simplified version.Live has 60 card decks vs 20 from PocketAnother major difference is Winning in Live you have prize cards. Where after you draw your iirc 8 cards you put 6 cards off to the side. You get these cards into your hand by defeating pokemon once you reclaim all 6 you win.Further difference is the need to have energy cards in your deck. Meaning you are limited in how much energy you have.Live is also more prone to crashes & bugs. Like I said the service has absolutely zero monetization so less incentive to fix bugs when it works pretty good 80% of the time (exaggeration)Pocket is about collecting Live is for battles.Pocket matches last like 10 minutes Live is easily 20.
    +1
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
oh man I totally forgot about the size difference of the decks
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Sucks that the main way to get cards in game is to buy cards IRL though :(
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Some live streamer made $12k in just 45mins was for a good cause at least
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    I wanna make 12k in 45 minutes, I'm a good cause :(
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    I'd probably make 25k cause I'm a bad cause
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Sicklyboy, and yeah i'm trying to log into TCG Live but it doesnt let me (might be due to shit wifi connection though, might try tommorrow)
