The Nintendo 3DS is getting a port of Monster Hunter Tri, titled Monster Hunter 3G, later this year. That's big news. But Capcom is planning more for Nintendo's portable. It's bringing Monster Hunter 4, the next major installment for the franchise, to the system.

One key detail that wasn't mentioned - whether Monster Hunter 4 is exclusive to the 3DS. With any luck more details will surface in the coming days at TGS 2011.[/p]

Exclusive or not, MH fans are gonna go wild, you aren't getting 1, but 2 MH titles on 3DS.

I'm worried this will end up like Portable 3rd...

Anyway, I just hope for at least ONE to be localized. JUST ONE!

There's little to no chance of us getting Tri G. But it's extremely likely that we'll get 4. Despite what people think, Tri did reasonably well on the Wii across the ocean, the Core games generally do.

I have hopes for MH4.

Monster Hunter 4 already? man... i don't wanna think about that. let's focus on Tri G first. then we'll see what happens with MH4.
Well when Monster Hunter Tri came out, Monster Hunter G was given with the demo, they're capable of working on both.

Either way, this has things I've wanted in an MH game, specifically larger areas. Also, the Monsters move much more smoothly, and the climbing aspect will really add to it. I'm excited, so long as they keep the Switch Axe.
