Misc White screen while booting flashcard

Hi everyone!

Apologies if there's a dedicated tag for flashcards. I've placed this thread under misc for now :)

Anyways, I have an R4i 3ds gold plus, and it's been working fine for a while. However, after flashing boot9strap on my previous roommate's 3ds and setting the sdcard back in place, I'm getting a white screen while booting the card. I've tried reformatting the sd card to fat32 with gparted, but even after setting the original files back and trying to get the wood firmware again from r4ids.cn results in a white screen. May I please have some feedback on what I should do next? I suspect I would need a patch for card2 as well, but afaik filetrip is down rn.
