EDIT: OK well all Battle Skills (Or did I call them Weapon Skills? I dunno. It's late) are full translated. However they're not properly formatted with line breaks and such. So I'll have a patch up tomorrow. Sorry for the delay guys. Been busy and lazy. A lot of lazy.

Haha, no problem. It happens so often to me before, when I started learning Japanese, that I'm especially aware of it. I'm glad to hear that it's going well, even taking into account that you've been busy. And lazy. I'm no stranger to laziness. I'm pretty skilled at it.

EDIT: Also the mention about the Custom Character menu in the OP needs to be removed and changed to something like "NOTHING! All in working order for now!"
EDIT: EDIT: Also newest patch contains UMDGen so no need to includes the links as well.

Ah I appreciate the help but I was just trying to check what exactly that meant and seeing if it was stored via images or actual game data.

Mind you that the Main Menu (New Game, Continue, Cross Play, etc.) is all stored in images. I would love to translate those however I don't know how to edit the images or decompress them or whatever's been done to them. They appear to be stored in either .XA or .XI format. Opening them in the Hex Editor they have a heading of XPCK (58 50 43 4B) for XA files and IMGP00 (49 4D 47 50 30 30) for XI files.

that was what i was thinking about that main menu because its the same in danball senki almost all the menus in it are images

Story will come in time. It's stored in ~900 separate files that would have to be translated individually. I might try and tackle it a chapter at a time, but I don't know.
Yea, plan was to do up all the menus and such before I take on the story.

Yea, I've been doing a little bit of looking as far as the images go but I'll have to try and get a hold of my friend again, he helped me with the G Generation images.

I WAS attempting one a while ago. The issue I ran into was that the DATAUMD.CPK lacked a Table of Contents (Told the program to open it where the files were, what they were called, and their extension), it was stored externally in the FileList.bin and I have no idea how to inject it back into the CPK file itself to open it or how to use an external program to open it.

Oh. Cool. With the SRW translation that I didn't know about popping up I thought I was outdated with the how many translation projects was going on. Especially with games that I love like SD Gundam G Generation series and the SRW series. I'd be very disappointed with myself if there was a translation project going for these games and I don't either give a hand or keep track of it.

Well, if you ever figure out how to open the CPK file and mess with it and you need help translating the game, I'm always up for it if I'm not too busy with real life. Going back on topic, I'm happy to see the new patch.
