And here's another thing, it's people like you that make him unwilling to continue with the project.
Why is Soulanger always the victim? He took money from people and never gave them what was promised.

Personally I would have just released the project as it was on the date, but soulanger has gotten caught up in various commitments, so you're going to have to make do with either waiting (and showing support) or nothing.
We could make do with waiting or downloading a leaked beta. I'm sure most people here wouldn't know about it if you weren't making such a big deal out of it.

And I agree that it is getting a little ridiculous. I remember back when I first downloaded the coffee sabaw demo years ago. This thing has been in development and being promised for a LONG time. I understand that SoulAnger is perfecting it, getting rid of bugs, adding more features etc., but its getting silly. People have paid money for it, and it still hasn't been delivered. And before you claim "It was a donation, not payment"; it was in many cases motivated by a promise of an early build, so in my books, its payment. And the talk of him not releasing it is absolutely ridiculous: he has spent years of his life developing this, why would he throw that away?

I fully support the project, and have been eagerly anticipating its release for a LONG time, but if SoulAnger doesn't release soon, he's going to become a complete laughing stock, and MenuDO will become the homebrew equivalent of Duke Nukem Forever.

I didn't know much about MENUdo until a few weeks ago.
It seems like all this commotion over soulanger and MENUdo is because people donated money towards it and expect a finished product or at least a beta.

Peopel have been waiting far too long for this. You might as well release it to them in the unfinished state it's in.

I just wanted to point out that the whole donations thing is:
1) Unrelated to leaking and potential discontinuation
2) Almost completely the fault of soulanger, due to his current circumstance there have been *ahem* "difficulties" in communication. I personally was against any kind of a donations system, and ShadowEO has worked tirelessly to fix the issue.

Also, I should point out that this topic is being watched, and any distribution of menudo (being classified as warez) within the thread will not be condoned.
