I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who happens to have an account on here but is kinda worried he'll be ridiculed by the evil trolls.

Anyway cut to the point, my friend has a collection of NDS roms that he may or may not of got off a torrent site, what he wants to do is check if all these roms are a clean dump and hopefully do it all in one clean swoop, so basically a mass checking tool.

Has anyone got any idea if such a tool exists, it needs to check around 3000 odd roms in one go, doing them one by one is going to take some time.

Thanks in advance and sorry if im kinda blunt, its been a long day and I'm a little tired

Most rom managers should do this.

If you are not inclined to go that route grab one of the err databases available- http://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=download (this should have sha1 and md5 in case your mate is truly paranoid)
If they are all uncompressed then run a command line hash generator over the lot and compare against what they should be in the list.

Is your friend planning on starting a catalogue of some sort for the preservation of DS games or is he just doing it to calm his nerves before he finds out that a ROM or two freeze or were patched-over? :P
