Marvel's Avengers game release date pushed back by a few months

9CvyRZP.png

Square Enix is on a roll today, when it comes to delaying games. Crystal Dynamic's Avengers game, which was originally slated for a May 15th release, has been delayed by four months. Just like the Final Fantasy VII Remake delay, the slight push back is due to the development team wanting to polish the game for its final release, and ensure that the game is truly ready for fans on launch day. You'll be able to try Avengers out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, when the game comes out on its new release day, September 4th.

Another delay by SE or a SE owned company. Bet these games are going to get delayed again to November and be dual released for both the ps 4/5 and xb 1x/sx

If the characters didn't look like a mere shadow of their MCU selves, maybe I'd be more hype for this.

Not to mention, those graphics.

I find it strange we are back in a time where a tie in game, much less a delay of it, is a notable event. However it seems such games basically died off so I guess it is.

Funny how you people can see into the future about this game. It’s not out yet, you can’t call it good or bad without playing it or at least playing the demo

It’s funny to me that Crystal Dynamics has emphasized the MCU aspects of this game to capitalize on their popularity, and it’s just led people to dismiss it as a movie tie-in. The more I hear about this game the less it sounds like an MCU game and the more excited I get. Kamala Khan’s inclusion in particular is exciting for me. I just wish it wasn’t too late for them to try and distinguish the game from the movies a little more visually.

Then why release traiiers then? After all, trailers don't tell us anything about a game, right?

Right?

Maybe the Avengers can go back in time, fix the bugs, and release it on schedule?

After enduring the trash that is the Evangelion ripoff with no giant robots or likable "protagonists" known as Future Diary, I'd really rather not have anything to do with time travel, alternate timelines, multiverses, etc. that isn't an excuse for a crossover.

it isn’t a part of the MCU. It is the second game of the MGU, the first is spider man ps4.

I didn’t say it was a part of the MCU. I said that the game was made to look like the MCU films and the most emphasis has been put on the core MCU Avengers, likely to capitalize on the popularity of the movies.

College costs, college loans, book prices, the entire thing is predatory, oft touted as essential to a successful life for my generation and the ones since, and completely unaffordable without putting you through an insane financial hardship for literal decades in many situations.

It's important for society to be healthy and educated. If those things can't happen because all of the institutions that prop up those industries make it unattainable for all but a small portion of society, then your society is largely going to be disease ridden, dying, and uneducated in very short order.

I agree it's not easy for the average American, let alone the ones below that average. Free / cheaper healthcare is much more important I think than free university education.
Of course like @mthrnite said, why not both. But I doubt both will get solved at once, and surely healthcare is top priority.

Although diet is largely education, people don't need to go to university to learn what's healthy and what's not,
it's the whole country, big corporations and advertising that is to blame for leading most of the population to believe that poptarts and froot loops are healthy to feed a child
