Marvel's Avengers game release date pushed back by a few months

Square Enix is on a roll today, when it comes to delaying games. Crystal Dynamic's Avengers game, which was originally slated for a May 15th release, has been delayed by four months. Just like the Final Fantasy VII Remake delay, the slight push back is due to the development team wanting to polish the game for its final release, and ensure that the game is truly ready for fans on launch day. You'll be able to try Avengers out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, when the game comes out on its new release day, September 4th.

Then why release traiiers then? After all, trailers don't tell us anything about a game, right?

Right?
Trailers set an expectation for a game or movie. They're the first impression of the product, and if you fail to meet an expectation, or give a poor impression of your product; then what do you expect people to say?

I didn’t say it was a part of the MCU. I said that the game was made to look like the MCU films and the most emphasis has been put on the core MCU Avengers, likely to capitalize on the popularity of the movies.

You are in desperate need of glasses or contacts. They look nothing like their movie counter parts.

I still can't get over how fucked Iron Man's proportions are.

I seriously doubt the delay will be used to make the characters look less like my favorite Retaliators, Sergeant Star and Flavor Suit, but I didn't have high hopes for this anyway.

Their faces don't, but it's clear the overall art style is influenced by the movies. The color scheme and costume design are similar to the movies, it's not really stylized in any way to set itself apart. That's why everybody's immediate reaction to these characters on reveal is that they looked weird, but nobody felt that way about something that is stylized, like Ultimate Alliance 3. The costumes, color palette, environments, the overall look is reminiscent of the movies which is why it just looks so wrong and weird that the character's faces don't match the actors from the movies.

Honestly, the dev's attempts to make the characters look like the OG actors reminds me of those porn parodies The Cinema Snob reviews!
