I'm dying to play this so badly, but it looks like it's not going to happen. ;-; No one seems to care to help us find a solution now. "Wait for a new firmware" doesn't help me, they apparently don't update the M3 I own anymore.

Time to wait for the US release I guess, whenever that may be. -.-

Actually, no$gba somehow fails to read my save file (or write up new files for that matter), even after it's been set to Eeprom 64kbit uncompressed. So somehow I ended up stuck at the first ability battle without any way to get around it, ugh.

Does anyone have a save file from right after that part? Or would subsequent similar bugs screw me over in the next couple of minutes anyway?

DSTT Firmware 1.17 must use the anti piracy code provided on 1st post or get a copy of usrcheat.dat from cheats.gbatemp.net = WORK

of course if you use DSTT + yasumenu shouldn't be a problem too as pointed out by Yuan on post #482

Strange, anti piracy code made the game crash in first battle here. But shisno patch alone make everything work fine.

i am a DSTT (firmware 1.17) user.. so i am pretty sure what i said! and i got report from other DSTT user that you can just run the game with the cheat code on

however, that doesn't matter as long as the patch can solve your problem !!!!
