Why would Marvelous entertainment be making a Zelda game?

If I recall, Capcom made the Oracle games and, as much as we want to forget, there were those three CDi Zelda games not made by Nintendo.

Marvelous could develop a Zelda game, indeed.. like Capcom did some years ago..

BUT, Nintendo would still be the publisher and so, being one of Nintendo's biggest IPs, I don't see why they would let MMV announce it instead of themselves.. makes no sense!

It could very well be, but the title saying "Major" makes me believe its an IP thats already popular.

Thinking about it, that does seem a likely option. Racing madness, could have brilliant online play, voice chat could work, and so far, theres been no Wii version (I think).

Or it could be Star Fox... But for online play, I reckon maybe they'll use F-ZERO.

Well Monster Games who did Excite Truck were said to have been handling a top secret Nintendo game for two years a while back and they have only ever done racing games in the past.

I don't really see 1080 Snowboarding or Wipeout as major and Mario Kart hasn't even been released for a year.

I dunno if its Kid Icarus, rumour was that Factor-5 were developing it and that Nintendo were ready to announce it when they suddenly started having internal financial problems. Of course Nintendo could fund them just to finish it.

Major NINTENDO game...GTA isn't by Nintendo, if it was GTA then the headline would be Major Wii Game to Be Announced.

Mario Galaxy 2 would probably be too soon & Nintendo have already said that the next Zelda is gonna be a long way off.
