ROM Hack Magnius's Pokemon Soul Silver Translation

I might be able to help with a video, I have a desktop which I play on but I could possibly try to set my mac up to record myself playing and such,


and could someone possibly give me some advice, my game always seems to freeze or it will say rom image has crashed, and it always deletes my last saves if it crashes, any ideas on how I can fix this? thank you.

The rom has to be clean wich means no other patches. Try repatching another rom. I use the Hkorz rom of SS and it works great for me. Hope i could help.

You don't ask WHEN the next patch is coming out...Patience, of course. Magnius and WataruKun is doing all they can to fasten the patch's release, and, they're even translating it FOR YOU, it's also a free download. Be thankful.

Also if you guys REALLY want to help the translation, like I said you can make walkthrough vids using the translation. This makes it easy for me to spot out small errors and stuff I haven't translated yet.

Now I do have one request though. Since this patch IS all the way to the end of Goldenrod which is tons of game play(Bellsprout Tower, First Gym, Slowpoke Well, Second Gym, Ilex Forest and the Third Gym)...

Could someone who has a Mic or a tool to record videos do a sort of walkthrough using my patch?

Those kind of things help me see errors and stuff. Not only that, but they show off the patch.

Well I think I will be able to make a playthrough video after all! I just need to get one of these cables first. Assuming how long it will take for the cable to arrive and for me to actually make the videos, I'll probably have a playthrough video series of up to the v4/v5 patches (Seeing how fast the progress is on this translation, I don't know what patch I'll be doing the playthrough on!)

Use that Emulator thing and record on PC, sound is always a bit iffy and it's a little fast(Can be slowed down) but it will work fine

Wi-Fi should work no matter what.

The code for the Pokémon themselves should be unchanged - it should only be how the game engine handles them.

I'm 99% sure that if you had a patched version and a non-patched version side-by-side and tried to trade or battle between them, they would each display the correct name in their respective languages.

The names of the players, on the other hand...
