Looks good, although the only thing that attracts me to newer generation slot-1 cards is the SDHC surpport. My R4DS and 1gb card doesnt give me much room to work with [IMG]

I don't understand why they release a "new" flashcard when the firmware and all the functions is supposed to work just as well on the "old" M3 DS Real (G6 Real too?)..

Fruck me. I had a feeling when people were talking about this Sakura that it would be a new flashcart and not just some new firmware for the cards that were already out. I kept my mouth shut. I said, "no DM, don't start some crazy speculation argument". Sometimes I hate when I'm right.

It's a new firmware but they are bringing out limited edition M3 Reals branded as M3 Sakuras as promotional materials apparently.

the m3sakura cart is simply a m3real with a sticker that matches the new firmware.

the m3 sakura coming soon messages have been removed with the new m3manager firmwares.

m3sakura firmware is currently limited to japanese m3real carts and m3sakura promotional cards.
also some info: m3 sakura cards come with a 2GB SD card with m3sakura firmware preinstalled.

I might get this some time soon, I'm still stuck with a Slot-2 since about the M3SD Slim came out

haha...It is a new firmware for all those who were whining about slowness and bugs in current M3 Reals GUI..
It isn't a new cart, but M3 team has produced several hundred of "special" edition carts with different, Sakura, label for promotional purposes..

For now, it has been released locked Japan region only firmware, but we can expect other languages soon..It has around 20 and so MB in size, and it requires at least 32 MB of free space to run properly..

It doesn't need any media player, because Sakura IS a media player itself (creator of MoonShell developed this firmware with M3 team)
It is highly anticipated firmware for over a month now..

well, yes, I believe they removed the shell of MoonShell, and made the same product of MoonShell options and M3 loader....It would make no sense if they coded the whole media player from scratch when they have a perfect done already, but I do believe they made lots of changes and improvements for this..

Looks like there is a japanese download on the site today, which wasn't there when I posted about the site update 2 days ago.
