Sorry if this is a dumb question, but if Luma is installed only to CTRNAND, will Luma Updater replace the arm9loaderhax.bin there instead of readding it to SD during future updates?

If I was you, I would manually update Luma by drag n' drop the arm9loaderhax.bin to SD and then move it to CTRNAND with FBI/GodMode9, just to be safe

Hey guys, sorry to ask again, but does anyone know how to get gba to work with luma arm9 placed in ctr nand and not on the sd card? Is there a patched agb firm that can do this?

I tested Mario Kart Super Circuit with 6.6 on CTRNAND and it loads fine.

Odd, for me it only works if the luma arm9.bin is also present on root of sd card, are you sir you don't have the cfw present on your sdcard?

Yes, I just verified that Luma is indeed deleted from SD.

CTRNAND is the main part of the nand. there is also TWLN, TWLP, AGBSAVE, FIRM0, and FIRM1.

it is a good idea though, if you haven't, to update your a9lh to v3 and then place the luma arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of ctrnand using FBI or godmode9 to launch a cfw without a sd card

Oh. Didn't know that was possible. I guess useful if one's SD card should fail. Will Safe a9lh installer update it?

i have a suggestion a screen shot taker homebrew has a screen shot taker built in it would also be cool if cfw did to mostly because on the old 3ds theres no way to take a screen shot of sun and moon and i don't have a camera

No it will just put the new one on the SD card. Then you'll have to copy it to CTRNAND.

I tried to use Luma Updater but I get an error message every time (Could not find out/Luma3DS.dat - DOWNLOAD FAILED).

I'm on Luma3DS v5.5 right now.

I'm using 3DSafe: In-NAND PIN lock for 3DS and have edited path to pint to;
/3dsafe/emergency.bin

If the SD card is inserted, the path.txt in SD:/luma needs changed. If it's not, CTRNAND:/rw/luma/path.txt needs changed.

I just found out I am using the dev version,however i didn't do it,i used Lima updater and found i am using (dev) version.
How to revert to normal version?

Edit:dev. features is disabled in Luma3ds configuration.
