Hacking Load gamecube games with USB loader?

Can gamecube games be loaded via any USB loader like the wii game or do they have to be play via DVD?

gamecube is not supported by any usb loader

GC mode = disable wii hardware
GC game = activate GC mode

now what do you get when you combine them?

why does it disable the wii hardware and i wonder if there's anyway to modify it so that it doesn't.

The backup loader loads at 3x so the games may load a little slow but do to the much smaller volume of data transfer during most GC Games that is fast enough for 90% of them. Frankly the only thing I want to do is break the hardware access for GC mode so that we can use USB and such with cube mode. Just because!!!!
