I am having trouble running various games with Linux mint 7. Mainly savage battle for newerth, glest and eternal lands.
savage gives a white screen whenever I load it. The graphics and very slow on glest but it runs fine under windows, Eternal lands will be very slow and has to be on the lowest graphics settings possible to even run and cant get it to run in windows at all because it keeps crashing.

My graphics card is an ati radeon 9550.

Did you enable the ATI linux drivers?

I know for Nvidia cards when you enable 3D graphics, it'll auto detect and install the appropriate drivers.
