And what of DOTA 2/SCII players who do the same? I know some Progamers who practice up to 12 hours a day in their team house, prepping for tournaments.
LoL players do the same too, the best teams are in houses too.
Difference between the 2 is that LoL is bigger, and more centered around eSports. Riot invests more in eSports than Valve it seems, I'm sure they are the thriving force in this Visa story!

Well, I find it weird that LoL has become sport so soon. I understand that it's popular right now and all that, but even so, I doubt it'll last more than a few years.
There's a lot of sports that I don't agree with, like hunting and bullfight, which is pretty popular in my country, however those have histories of many years, I find it weird that a game which will eventually become obsolete in several years, gets accepted as a sport which normally is something ageless that never gets old.
