all system menus can be modded justsome are abit more work than others ,newer wii's usually cant read backup discs this need to be done with a hard drive ,hit or miss in shops to say which one you will get but good luck either way it will be modable.

So are if I don't care about it reading backup disc's but just want to use usblaoder will that work? Is USB loader still the best to read games off a USB hard drive? ( Its been over a year since I tried a softmod, and I only did one at the time and it was way back on sys menu 4.0. I know I am getting to be an old man, so have some patience with me, I am at least trying

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
