Hacking Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days Game Fix Patch

bare in mind, this is not english translation patch!
so how can a game fix patch change the whole game to english?

they have something for the menu (just use the search function)

so i am on Day 122, and I am trying to go to my next mission in agrabar, when i slect the stage and ok it, the screen goes black. this also happens to me when I am doing Trial Mission 9 in Twilight Town and when I go to the forrest, fight the flowers by the mansion gate, and when i leave the forrest it goes black.

only those two instances is where i have this problem. other agrabar stages or other twilight town stages are ok despite day 122 and Trial Mission 9

I dont wanna skip this mission to go to the next day, pretty tempting, and i want to finish that Trial stage because I almost got 3 tokens for each one in twilight town....

Two month old thread and all, but hey, I'm a little behind the ball.

Okay, so, I know nothing of NDS emulators and ROMS.

I'm trying to play KH 358 on a no$GBA emulator, but I'm getting stuck on the black screen/white text of doom. I tried patching it both with the KH patch and the IPS patch, but neither worked for me. I also went through and tried changing the hex code with ue and whatnot from OC to 37, also didn't work, but when I tried I didn't have a flashcard or whatever it is.

Is there something I need to be downloading besides the emulator, the ROM, and the patch?

If you have an R4 you're probably screwed (unless this isn't one of the new piracy protections).

Instructions:

Step 1 - Download the patch

Step 2 - Put your KH 358/2 Days game into the same folder with the patch

Step 3 - Rename your name to "nrp-khdj.nds" without the quotations

Step 3 - Run "kh_patch" Please note that the cmd box will only appear for about a second.

Step 4 - Have fun :]

Tried this fix on the U version with my M3Real, nothing but black screen after difficulty select, just like without the fix.

Didn't work for my R4. The game doesn't even start, it just hangs at a white screen.

Did the fix and it works perfectly until the end of the intro, when you're at 7 days, laying on the bed. the screen fades to black and the music just hangs.

I think this patch was intended for a JP ROM...

it's confirmed that the patch works on US roms as well.
although it does not seem to fix the crash on day 7.

For R4DS users, the simple Hex editing would work. Yeah, I'm still using that old flashcart, and I'm on the 90+ day without any AP.
