1) with a cfw, you can play ps2 games...all of them?
2) with a cfw, you can play psp games...all of them?
3) with a cfw, you can use remote play...on all of them?

The PS3 has been technically capable of all of this...and they held it back?!?!?!

I'm just stupified...and hunting down a 2xxx ps3 on ebay.

From what I know you can't use Remote Play for PS2 classics because the emulator is using a lot of resources in order to emulate a PS2 game and same thing as a PSP game I believe and the compatibility is so far pretty good but there might be a few obscure PS2 and psp games that won't work right

It just amazes me that the PS3 has so many capabilities and that Sony didn't exploit them. I know many things were exploited by the hacking groups, but just that the ps3 has the cpu/gpu power for a ps2 emulator and psp emulator and that Sony started on that path but then dropped it...it's just amazing

Also in the latest CFWs does the linux install work again?

yeah...definitely getting another ps3...at least I don't HAVE to have my old 60Gb repaired now. I can do more on a modded newer unit.

Yes it is possible all you need is multi-man webman and PS2 Classics placeholder and a compatible PS3 fat or Slim that can be hacked
Not to Hijack your treath, but with a Playstation 3 Slim (so without the PS2 chip) is it possible for PS2 roms? :wtf:

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
