Anything I should know about it before getting it? I'll be mainly using it for Pokemon games whenever I'm bored, (and yes, I know it doesn't have RTC, doesn't bother me).

Boktai games won't work either, you can patch them, but you won't get the proper game experience. Also that Wariware game with the gyroscope in the pak. Some of the Super Mario Advance and classic NES games have issues too.

All of the Classic NES work now - there are patches for them. Same thing for Mario games - no issues at all.

I'm a EZFiV newbie too.I've already installed the 1.72 reset firmware, but now i have problems with saves.

Sonic Advance (patched with the client) freezes when I save & exit from the Chao Garden; also, if I reach Act 5, the game doesn't save anymore.

@sobieslav I have these roms, just got the cards and made my dumps this morning, but have not had a chance to play/test. Try in the ez client not adding the reset patch and see what your options of save file are to select. I know pokemon needs the 128k save file because after you defeat the E4 and become a pokemon league chapmion it wants to save a lot more stuff; reccords w/ what pkmn you beat them w/ ect... and if you have it set to the smaller save file there is no room. Also the reset patch adds a line of code that needs to be hit everytime the game loop goes through a cycle to check if the reset button combo is being held down and to execute some code/aFunction when it detects that. The problem is if the game doesn't have the working room to do this then you'll have errors, glitches and crashes. I know using the pokemon games w/ a link cable it is strongly reccomended not to reset patch. Also your roms could be bad. Try new roms.

So there are 3 things for you to try; new roms, saveFileType, no resetPatch. Let me know how it goes.

@Suprgamr232 the 3rd gen pokemon games are prime to play on the Ez-Flash 4. Nintendo left of the Real time clock features as they didn't want another generation of pokemon games to deal with batteries dying, or more likely the case they were lazy. Either way Fire Red and Leaf Green have no internal Clock. Ruby and Saphire you can time/clock patch them with gbata.exe and when you start a game the clock will be 00:00 and only advance as you play. I think the way it works is it makse your play time the internal clock. So it takes 24hrs to advance the in game time/clock by 1xDay. The only down side to this is really really slow berry growth but I srsly spent 2k+ hrs on pokemon games in my life and I've never thought about growing berries, they're a minor game element.

Oh I just remembered the tides in Shoal Cave depend on the time of day it R/S/E. That is it for timed events. Other then that all the times are kept track of by a step counter. Example: Eggs hatch after X steps (X varries depening on egg type and pokemon in the egg check bulbapedia for info, and yes riding yr bike is a fast way to clock up steps)

Read this, http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Time#Generation_III , for more info about the Gen3 game's and the clock/time

I got mine ~2 years ago from real hot stuff

    http://realhotstuff.com/ezflash-size-p-294.html

and it is the same price today as it was ~2 years ago T_T

It'll cost you ~$40 w/ shipping from Real hot stuff.

There are cheaper places to get it. I think the cheapest I saw it recently was $23-$25 (don't know if it had shipping on it)

    Check out http://shoptemp.net/products/EZ%252dFlash-IV.html

They compile a list of the most reputable sellers for all the goodies we talk about here and I think are a subSite of GBA temp, like filetrip.

Anyway shoptemp is showing one site has it for $22.99 but he got 1x 2 star rating. I would go w/ real hot stuff. Slow shipping but you'll get your card in

I'm still hoping that the SuperCard Team will update their GBA emu or I can find a M3 Lite Perfect.

What do you want to see in an update? I find it pretty complete and working as it. Performance/optimization and full screen are really the only things I ask for in an update.

I've bought several things off of them and they only fraud is their shipping, expect it to be a week more than they say. It's comming all the way from china... has to cross the date line and defy other feats of globe trotting to get to your door.

Again I can only speak from my expirences, but I've gotten everything I paid for; just had to wait for it.

Buy with paypal or a major credit card and they'll protect you. I've had other sites not ship my stuff or ship me fake/bad/broken/damaged goods before and visa just canceled the charge. It's always good to know you have that too.

Again I have never had a problem with RealHotStuff, my best friend has not either.

I've never had a problem with RHS either. But it looks like they're now sold out of the EZFlash IV GBA size. Other options???

I bought from them http://www.eachgame....goods-3587.html waiting to receive it, it has been shipped.

Also the GBAtemp.net sponsor ETcome are selling it: http://www.etcome.co...p-nds-lite.html

Both are good options to consider.

    edit: typo.

I bought one from eachgame. Works good, except the battery was "dry" lol. It's not too hard to change. Easily worth the money. Look up these videos for awesome tutorials: http://www.youtube.com/user/WildWolfG
