Just bought a NDS Lite what now?

Im sure there is enough info here to figure out how to install everything and get things working but Im looking for recs on what I should install and do to my new DS Lite. Bought a EZFlash DS, and going to get a EZflash GBA also but do I need a homebrew or can the carts run everything? other than UI changes what do the Homebrews bring to the table? I read that some games need cheats to fully function on reddit but the posts there are years old so is that true? I havent dabbled in this stuff since I had a JTAG xbox 360 when I was 13 lol.

I recommemd an EZ flash omega Definitive edition for gba roms (around 50 to 80 usd 50 is more for the non DE version as for nds idk really i have an r4inp (doesn't have a time bomb kernel)

Just grab two items, a NDS flash card (I personally prefer Supercard) and a Ez Flash, oh and a micro SD card, and you should be good to go, no softmod is needed, just grab Roms and pirate game away, my friend, you can also get emulators for legacy systems such as the Nintendo and Master System.

Either pickup the R4iLS or R4i-SDHC timebomb carts, doesn't matter which one it is, they do about the same thing and work with every DS model there is.

Yeah I read that some carts have timebombs which is insane to me. thanks for the rec ill look into that for sure!

Does the SD card matter or just anyone will do? Also where the F do you get roms at ive been looking all over and cant find a site. nintendo really cracking down or something. its crazy I can go to fitgirlrepack and get any game I want for xbox/pc but these little carts are just non existent.

Can't ask that here, read the rules. You also can't mention names of warez sites.
But yes, rom sites have been getting shut down. And even long before then they were often suffering from DMCA takedowns specifically on Nintendo games.
